My 2011 expanded edition of The Book of Tea contains a chapter on the life and story (illustrated) of Okakura Kakuzo and a chapter on Japanese tea production during the last half of the 19th century. Once you understand Okakura’s life, you more fully appreciate his 1906 text. World Tea Expo named this the Best New Publication of 2011. Bruce Richardson theteamaestro.blogspot.com
