America's Only Tea Plantation

Anyone who's been reading TGS for the last week or so will know what that headline refers to. It's the Charleston Tea Plantation, in South Carolina, the only place in the United States where tea is produced.

As mentioned in these pages, the plantation has been profiled in three rather sizable American newspapers over the course of the last two weeks. Now the most sizable American newspaper of them all - USA Today - does their take on the topic, courtesy of the Associated Press.

Chalk up one more for the plantation's crack PR staff. What a hard working bunch they must be.

UPDATE
After posting this, I ran across yet another newspaper article on the eminently newsworthy plantation. This one's kind of interesting since it talks to some of the Bigelows, whose company bought the plantation a few years back.
